CREATING MY MARKBOOK...

In the process of creating my markbook, i have come across some troubles.
These include creating the macros. I have had trouble with making the macros work
this had taken up most of the time as they were not done right the first few times.
Because of this I have had to start a new markbook every time until i got the macros
working, this is because they would not allow me to delete them so i had to start again.

In the end, after startnig my 4th markbook, I had created the macros right and they are working properly.
There are only two macros, NEW SHEET- this creates a new sheet and allows the person
rename it. There is also an INSTRUCTIONS, macro which automatically directs the person
the instruction page.

In the starting markbook, there are only three sheet, one is the homepage, the instruction page and one is a starting sheet which is called template.
On the fist template there are just headings, CLASS, LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, TASK 1, GRADE, TASK 2, etc...
This is just to start the person off on how they would like to make it and they can change this in any way the want.

REQURIEMENTS REPORT...

The purpose of my markbook is to allow teachers to have an electronic personal markbook.
The markbook i have created allows the teacher to insert names, task marks and task grades,
it also allows to find out the final grade and final mark.
The teacher can also use autofilters in order to find a specific person, find out who passed a task
or who failed one.

The markbook includes macros which will allow the teacher to automatically create a new
sheet, and rename it to whatever they like. The sheet they create also includes some
headings, class, name, mark, grade. This is to help the teacher a little to start off creating
a sheet of their own.

The markbook also includes some instructions on how to use it. What certain buttons are for
and how to create things e.g. a new sheet. The instructions are there to help out the teacher
with creating their own markbook.

IPT ASSESMENT

I am completing a draft mark book in excel, to see how it all works.
I have put in a homepage, and an instruction page.
On the homepage I have put in two buttons, one that will create a new sheet, and one that will go to the instruction page.

I am also creating in one of the sheets just a draft class. I will add command buttons on this page that will do things automatically e.g sort last names automatically in alphabet order, or sort grades to see who failed a task.

I still have to finish my requirements report.....

OPTICAL FIBER CABLE...

An optical fiber cable is made out of glass or plastic, in which it carries light along the inside.
The light is transmitted inside the cable by total internal reflection, which causes the fiber to act as a waveguide
Optical fibers are mainly used for communication, which allows longer distance transmissions at higher bandwidths thanany other forms of communication.
Fibers are used instead of wire as the signal travels along inside them withoutlosing alot of information. The fibers are used for illumination and they are put in bundlesso they can carry images, therefore allowing viewing in tighter spaces.

MICROSOFT OFFICE LIVE...

Microsoft office is an online workplace where people who have access to the internet have a place to save, share and access document. These documents can be used for many purposes, for school, work, or home. The documents can be used for either group related or for personal use.
For school you can use it to do group tasks, and keep up to date with everyone or you can just use it for an individual task. At work you can use it to prepare a meeting, sharing documents with others to get and give feedback. At home you can organize events such as parties, or trips to go away somewhere.
You can save up to 5 gigabytes of documents and files, and they can be accessible with any computer. In order to share files and documents with others all you need is the other persons email address.
Microsoft office live works with programs such as; word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
